Woke this morning thinking that there was something I needed to remember. Then it hit me, 9-11. It is human nature to push back bad memories, but I shall not. I am angry and sad that this day ever came. I will always remember the day that broke our hearts and I refuse to be the American that forgives and forgets. Regardless of what I think of my countries politics at any given time, I am reminded that we are still so clueless as to what horrors others face on a day to day basis. We are lucky to live in this country and even though it was so very long ago, in my heart, it is as if it only happened yesterday. Fallen angels I will never forget you and your families who have suffered so much. I will never be the same. Time certainly heals, but there is no child like fantasy that this shall pass. It happened and it could happen again. God Bless America and the World.
