Woke up this morning to a story on ESPN that bothers me. A Mets player took 2 days off to the birth of his child and is getting ridiculed my the media for doing so. Yes this man is a Professional Baseball Player but he is a Father FIRST!!!!!! Every job would give you time off to see the birth of your child no matter if you made $10 per hour or $1000 per hour! Big props to this father, and shame on you media morons! Especially you Boomer Esiason!!!! You portrait yourself as a family man then make the comments you did about this man? Wonder how you would feel if the media talked shit about you when you took time off because your kid was sick and you wanted to be with him. Sad how people forget that your kids are and should always be #1 in your life!!!!!
