Woke up this morning with missed calls and text messages notifying me that my Mommy was rushed to the ER. Knowing I cant get there, I attempted to push past that and simply enjoy today. For whatever reason in the midst of the Happy Mothers Day messages Ive received, Ive also experienced just as many challenges within a short amount of time. Through every tear and fit of frustration Im reminded of the tenacity and bold faith of my Mommy. When asked whether or not she wanted to keep her shoes recently (since she hadnt walked in over 3 years), her response was: dont you throw away my shoes because Im walking again. Thanks for the reminder Mommy as I walk in faith with you!
