Wonderful sung evensong tonite at Calvary with our choir joined by our sister parish St. Lukes and our neighbor St. James United Methodists choirs and St . James organist. It is the feast day of William Byrd, John Merbecke and Thomas Tallis from way back in the 16-17th centuries when there were no Episcopalians or Methodists. We were all Church of England and the service was very properly British.
