Woohoo! My first Monday to start off a no-school week! Finished my first semester of College on Thursday and I feel pretty confident in my grades. It was SO nice to not have any homework this past weekend :D Congrats to everyone who finished their first semester as well! It was such a great experience and I hope to get into classes with some of you guys eventually! Another good note: I figure out my major! So, since the first time writing was introduced to me, Ive had this immediate connection, Ive enjoyed it in all my years of school. Its my passion, my love, my life. As a career, I want to do something related to it, most likely an author. Although, as an author, a career might not always be available and available for good pay. Also, i want to settle down and have a family, spend times with my kids and spouse and all. I want an equal balance of good life and good pay. SO... Im gonna get a degree in teaching! Most likely k-6th grade. By doing this, I can have a degree that will get me a job that will pay if my spouse doesnt make enough or something along those lines, just making sure Im set for life if anything happens. With the degree, then I can be a substitute teacher, teach at homeschool places, be a homeschool ES or anything along those lines. If my spouse makes enough, then I might not have to teach, I can just work from home, writing novels and doing what I love as a job, AS WELL as have a good life balance to spend time with my family and enjoy life! Im very thankful to both my supportive parents for helping me through my first college semester, giving me tips on how to get good grades and ways to maneuver through the classes and also helping me decide on my career. I love you both very much and I am so thankful for your love and support! I also want to say thank you to my amazing friends that also completed their first college semester! It was an amazing journey, helping each other out whether we were just inspiration for each other or helping each other study for the same class. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE BASICALLY XD Now, let the holiday festivities begin! (Or well continue since its already the 22nd of December :O )
