Word-of-mouth marketing is a valuable and legitimate way to market a product. Youre telling a friend about my shakers and having them buy them is a simple example of what network marketing is but you arent being paid for connecting me with the buyer. Not to say I wouldnt pay people to help distribute them, by the way! Manufactures compensate distributors and that is how people get paid for helping share products. Someone who works in a warehouse, a restaurant or in any service industry is paid an hourly wage which they are pretty much stuck with. There is nothing wrong with creating a powerful compensation plan that rewards hard work for sharing products. It actually is a more just system in my opinion.
