Word/vision shared @ Floodgate today. Thanks Mike! During worship this morning as we were exploring the depths of God I sensed that as we explored Him the Lord was intensely interested in discovering us. I then had a vision of a man dressed like an archeologist at a dig site in the desert. I looked and saw that the Lord was the man, he then turned and said to me, I am digging deeper. I noticed that the site where he was digging was a large heart and in fact it was your heart. Through this vision the Lord is saying to you, I am discovering you, digging up the hidden treasures of your heart to display your incredible value and worth, I am recovering you, bringing back to life those broken dreams and lost destinies that have been buried there, I am uncovering you, examining wounds that never healed properly and applying a love salve that will bring complete healing and restoration to you. The heart of the Lords message to us was that He carries a deep passion in His heart to discover us together with us. The goal of this journey of discovery is the development of a deeper intimacy between you and Him . As we expose our hearts to the Lord in abandoned worship He desires our agreement to be discovered by Him. And of course he laughed as He explained that this deep desire of His heart is fueled by the fact that, He really digs you.
