Words cannot describe the amount of happiness, gratitude and elation I am feeling right now. Last night was the most amazing experience and I feel extremely privileged, honoured and blessed to have been crowned MISS LEBANON AUSTRALIA 2014. This contest was more than just an ordinary beauty pageant. It was a significant community event recognising the talents, skills, personalities and ambitions of our beautiful Lebanese Australian women. It was a celebration of civic values, community harmony, mutual respect, citizenship and of course our love for both Australia and our motherland Lebanon. I am ever so grateful for being granted the opportunity to participate in such an honourable event. Winning the title of Miss Lebanon Australia was a bonus and a true blessing from God that I will treasure forever. I will treasure all the rewarding experiences I have gained during this pageant. I will treasure the laughs. I will treasure the increased life skills and personal growth I have developed . Most importantly, I will treasure the beautiful women I was blessed to meet and form lasting friendships with. You were all absolutely stunning last night girls and we are all winners! I would like to take this opportunity to thank the World Lebanese Cultural Union for making this spectacular event possible. I would like to thank everyone involved and make a special mention to President of the WLCU Tony Yacoub for all his support and efforts in running this event. I would like to thank my gorgeous trainer, choreographer and mentor Golda Zogheib El-sheikh; thank you so much for your tireless efforts in training us and transforming us into confident and poised beauty queens. I would like to thank the beautiful and extremely talented Karla Abdo and her amazing team for sponsoring us and making us look flawless, especially my personal make up artist Shaki Zee for your mind blowing artistic work. I would like to thank all the sponsors, communities and individuals who supported this event. A special thank you to the beautiful Rita Houkayem, Jessica Mansour and Cosette Saba for all your valuable advice, support and encouragement through this journey. You girls are truly inspirational and I love you all. Finally I would like to thank my supportive and loving family for everything you have done for me. If it wasnt for you, I would not be the woman I am today and I thank God for the blessing of your love, care and ongoing belief in me. Thank you to all my supporters, to all those that attended this event and to the judges and Lebanese community for believing in me. I hope to do you all proud and I look forward to the many opportunities and experiences that await me as I take on the honourable role of Miss Lebanon Australia 2014! 😘👑💋👸
