Working on a new project. I had saved the glass from an old back - TopicsExpress

Working on a new project. I had saved the glass from an old back door outside light fixture and ran across it this morning while out in the shop. Sudden inspiration hit so I took 3 of the 4 side panels and bonded them together into a triangle (the panels all slope from bottom to top, so the triangle is larger at the bottom than the top) and cut a piece of thin plywood to put on the smaller opening, with an opening through it. I then pulled the old, antique porcelain light socket I had in my spare electrical parts box out as well as a length of chandelier chain and a piece of chandelier electrical cord. When Im done I will have a unique, DIY pendent light to hang over the kitchen table. Im really quite liking the way its looking so far. Will post pix once its hanging from the ceiling.
