Workout tip #1. You do not need to do shrugs for big traps. The best exercise you can do for your traps is heavy deadlifts 2-3 times/week with proper form as seen in the video. Not only does the deadlift build your traps, but also your back, forearms, abs, and legs. It develops functional core, hip and leg strength that can be transferred into your squat or even improve athletic performance in most competitive sports. I incorporate deadlifting into just about all of my clients programming. Dont cheat yourself, do some deadlifts!
