~Workshop Alert~ Wondering how to mediate? Considder this wonderful workshop, happening on Wednesdays until March! --- What is meditation? At first, meditation involves cultivating the attention. Imagine being able to effortlessly focus on a chosen object for as long as you’d like. Once the mind is made serviceable by this ability to focus- then meditation can be used to analyze reality in such a way the leads to the permanent cessation of mental affliction. Can I do it? Yes- if you have the desire to meditate, it is most certainly within your capacity. How do I do it? Join us every Wednesday for 10 weeks to learn and practice meditation. At the end of this course, there will be a special weekend urban retreat- by guest teacher Douglas Veenhof, an international meditation instructor who comes to Vancouver only twice a year! (Urban retreat is optional) About the Instructor Meshe was drawn to meditation in 2004 as a means of overcoming mental suffering.
