+++ Workshop linking FP7 projects and Topic Groups +++ #ERF2014 workshop scheduled for 14th March, 08:30-10:30 (track 4). The motivation for this workshop is to allow a cross fertilisation between researchers and colleagues involved in challenges 2 and 5 of the FP7 in support of H2020. Existing FP7-funded projects related to Health & well-being as well as some national projects in the areas of assistance, rehabilitation and surgical robotics will be presented. These are aligned with the topic groups in the EURobotics so that multiple objectives can be met: 1) To align the existing work, with the work needed to support next topic groups action 2) To highlight and bring together synergies from FP7 projects and those of H2020-ICT and H2020-Health care 3) To provide a chance for positive dissemination of projects and their results 4) By actively engaging the participants, it is hoped that we can contribute to formation of new consortia This is our agenda and list of speakers: 08:30-08:45 – Farshid Amirabdollahian- Introduction to the workshop and checklist/speakers 08:45-09:00 – Speaker: Paolo Fiorini – Robotics for surgery 09:00-09:15 - Filippo Cavallo – Robot-Era project, advanced robotic systems for the ageing population 09:15-09:30 – Speaker: Farshid Amirabdollahian – Accompany Project, companion technology for home care and promoting independence 09:30-09:45 – Speaker: Stefano Mazoleni – An integrated eHealth environment supporting continuity of care, healthcare risk management & patient empowerment 09:45-10:00 – Speaker: Luis Merino – Teresa Project, socially intelligent telepresence robotic systems 10:00-10:15 – Speaker: Christophe Leroux – Topic groups and how existing projects can contribute to EURobotics activities 10:15-10:30 – Farshid Amirabdollahian- Roundup and conclusions We look forward to seeing you in ERF14, Rovereto
