World Peace “Lennon Ivan Style” – Part XXXXXXXXXXXIX: As a continuation from my last blog whereby I believe the root of “World Peace” is centered on peace in the Middle East with the first step being negotiated peace between Israel and the Palestinians, I would like to remain objective and independent in my views such that I would like to today bring Iraq into my views as they seem to be the closest at this time to a full fledge civil war of rage like wild animals stuck together in a cage. However, it is important to note that Israel and Palestine seem to be awakening from their hatred induced coma state with the potential for peace negotiations to be resumed in the near future in the United States, while Egypt continues to operate in supremacy domination mode whereby the minority Christian military continues to hold on to power while the Muslim majority is fuming at the seams hoping to awaken from this horrible dream. As for the Syrians, both sides are still in an anger induced coma state for the mentally insane such that millions of Syrians continue to suffer each and every day. In terms of the Russians and Ukrainians, they seem to have entered into a political war game whereby neither party wishes to concede but rather seems to prefer to enter into a civil war and commit dirty deeds. While Israelis, Palestinians, Egyptians, Syrians, Russians and Ukrainians continue along their respective paths toward enlightenment, it is now time for the Iraqis to be enlightened as to the path of quelling their current tensions before any more civil war breaks out which bears the risk of leading to a third and final world war on this earth, after which, there will be no place for anyone left to run. In summary, Observers around the world are stunned by the speed and scope of assaults on every major city in the upper Tigris River Valley, including Mosul, Iraqs second-largest city, by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or ISIS. However, as the ISIS rebels extend their reach across Iraq, the U.S. Air Force was forced to intervene in order to prevent Genocide while Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki relinquished power opening a new political chapter that U.S. officials hope will move Iraq toward a more unified front against Islamic jihadists currently running wild and literally beheading “Infidels” like pigs without shedding a tear as blood spills out of their victims giving everybody creepy chills. On December 5, 2014, Islamist militants attacked the Kurdish forces in KOBANE on three fronts and the Kurds responded with heavy fire, stopping the attack and killing several militants. The militants first began by shelling the Kurdish areas then they began the ground assault, Peshmerga Captain Sherwan Muhammad said. Cpt. Muhammad said that the Peshmerga and Peoples Protection Units (YPG) responded to the Islamic State (ISIS) attacks and killed seven militants. Coalition fighter jets also came to the support of the Kurdish fighters, he said, bombing the ISIS positions in and around the city. On Saturday, December 6, 2014, a senior Iranian official confirmed that his country had carried out air strikes against Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants in Iraq. Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Ebrahim Rahimpour said the air strikes were carried out at the request of the Baghdad government but was not coordinated with Washington. The purpose of the strikes was for the defense of the interests of our friends in Iraq who he defined as the Baghdad government and the autonomous northern region of Iraqi Kurdistan, who are both fighting ISIS. Rahimpour also repeated Tehran’s insistence it has only military advisers in Iraq, rather than ground troops. This is only an advisory presence. There is no need to send Iranian troops to Iraq. There are sufficient Iraqi and Kurdish troops there, he said. On a very sad note, wealthy nations that pledged hundreds of millions of dollars in humanitarian aid to refugees of Syria’s civil war haven’t come through with the money, according to data compiled by the top U.N. agency tracking the funds. Kuwait, United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia have collectively come up $335 million short. However, others have lived up to aid promises, including the United States, which, at $3 billion, has funded nearly half the total humanitarian response. Without getting into further excessive details, the U.S. and its International allies should continue with their coordinated air strikes with the Kurdish YPG, Kurdish Peshmerga and Free Syrian Army (FSA) as this approach seems to be working to hold back the ISIS fighters’ advance. In terms of the critical success factor to victory, which in my opinion is to arm the Kurdish (YPK & Peshmerga) fighters and Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters with equal firing power to ISIS by giving them the necessary heavy military arsenal to strike ISIS head on, I do not see anyone yet putting their money where their mouth is. However, in my opinion, Kuwait, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands and Saudi Arabia should be ashamed of themselves for not honoring their financial commitments in terms of humanitarian aid to refugees of Syria’s civil war. In my opinion, if these nations do not wish to contribute to the arming of the the Kurdish (YPK & Peshmerga) fighters and Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters, at a minimum they should have the common human courtesy to honour their financial commitments for humanitarian aid as no human on this earth deserves to suffer the Iraqi and Syrian refugee pain. In terms of Iran’s assistance to the Iraqi army in Baghdad, in my opinion I am a little bit surprised but what the hell, if it takes down ISIS in the end, let’s welcome them. In my opinion, it is better for the U.S. and Iran to not enter a never ending nuclear debate as a precondition for Iranian inclusion at this stage. In my opinion, if Iran wants to bring it to Iraq and assist against the ISIS onslaught, let’s not worry about the past at this stage, but let’s allow Iran fire more rocket blasts. In terms of the Kurdish (YPK & Peshmerga) fighters and Free Syrian Army (FSA) fighters response to ISIS in KOBANE with heavy fire, stopping the ISIS attack and killing several militants, if only the entire Iraqi force could fight with their sheer determination and heart, ISIS would be defeated on all fronts. In summary, I refer to “World Peace Lennon Ivan Style – XXXXXXXXXXXIX” as the belief that KOBANE Kurds, Syrian FSA and all Iraqis should welcome Iran’s helping hand as they seem to want to blast ISIS hard and fast.
