Worth a read, however, a lot of the ethics in the article appears to focus on the environmental credentials of the materials and not so much on the virtual slave labour. I will only be convinced of Fair Trade when I can be shown that that the person at the bottom of the food chain receives a fair living wage. I bet a lot of the wage research stops with the contractor and doesnt really tell us what the little sub-sub-contractor sitting at the machine actually takes home.
