Would like to share what Dr.Carol Carnes of the Association for Global New Thought has to say about the book Shortcut to a Miracle, How to Change Your Consciousnesses and Transform Your Life in a letter to co-author Elizabeth Rann Arrott and her recent blog Living Consciously My 300 class will start next week. I have been reading Shortcut to a Miracle in preparation for it. Last night I had an insight (directly as a result of how you wrote about the quantum field) that seemed obvious but I had not quite put it in these words. Thoughts (consciousness) travel faster than the speed of light because at the quantum level they DO NOT TRAVEL at all! They arise! HA! in a field of receptivity. (absent prayer works because of this) I am on a whole new track with this. Of course I knew this...in my own way...but you have stated it such that it feels new! I also love and really got that Life exists on two levels, physical and quantum and Newtonian physics do function on the physical level and quantum physics on the other! and both at the same time depending on how we are perceiving reality!!!! wow wow and double wow!!! The passage (I cant find it just now) about how the universe responds to us was another one. There was something about the way you wrote that part that suddenly I felt embraced by the sweetest love! I guess there is no end to how we get what we have been teaching! I love your book! I will highly recommend it....Thank you so much. It was pure intuition that made me choose your book for class without having read it. I just knew I needed to go in this Dr. Carol Carnes Association for Global New Thought Living Consciously September 23, 2014 Dear friends, One does not have to be religious to be spiritual, devoted to the higher Good or reverent in ones’ relationship with nature. In fact, religion often gets in the way, with its rules and dogmas. Some religions are against nature, pronouncing her sinful and wild. Nature includes women and children and indigenous peoples. Our ignorance has caused us more problems than we might care to own, but the truth is emerging. It is coming through science and the New Thought spiritual teachings. There are some basic tenets that, once known and practiced, could help us create the world we know is possible. 1. One power is generating all life forms. (In science it is the quantum field of Intelligence) 2. That power is residing in the field of human imagination (The Wave particularizes as form) 3. That power is alive in each one of us (Our mind is an extension of the One Intelligence.) 4. When we think, we are directing the Wave to become the particle (our personal and shared experience) This truth is hidden in religion, told in metaphor and allegory. Unfortunately the deeper meaning was lost on early people. Today there are those who insist the metaphor is the literal truth. That is the crux of our shared dilemma. Some will fight and die and kill to protect the metaphor when they could be the beneficiaries of the greater truth. We have to ask ourselves everyday; What version of reality am I supporting and upholding? Is it one which grants equality to all people? Does it place responsibility for our life on humanity, knowing that we have access to the quantum field of greater intelligence? Do we respect nature and feel the need to care for our planet? Do we love and celebrate diversity? Is peaceful co-existence something we can envision? Do we believe there is enough of everything for everyone, that our Source is within? If you answer in the affirmative, you are spiritually aware. You can be part of the solution to the worlds self-created problems.
