Got news for ya: Every single thing we do is governed by politics. After all, it is the process of determining who gets what, when and where. And if we are not at the table - regardless of WHAT party is in charge, then we have no voice. In 2014, nothing could be more absurd. For us to not be actively engaged would be a smack in the face of our ancestors - the same ones who sacrificed JUST for us to have the right to vote. Democrat. Republican. Independent. We must come away with tangible results; this happens by getting them on the record and then by holding them accountable; this means - and my business people can appreciate this - FOLLOW-UP. We have to check on politicians at their job just like we check on our children in school.
