Would you agree? INFORMATION & EXPERIENCE OF GOD is more important than the two being independent. Information may be an irreplaceable component, by itself it cannot transform anyone. Why? Because every transformation includes information. Certainly, concepts possess no inherent power for initiating change; Gods Spirit however, working through human hearts, can become the irreplaceable element necessary for conversion. Christianity highly regards intelligence, thinking, and imagination....it is not an irrational faith...even though certain elements of it has elevated emotion, feeling, and experience above knowledge. Based on this, would you say that there are certain mindsets that believe that experience alone is better and has more meaning than having the knowledge? Would you say that obedience and adherence to specific truths are deemed relatively unimportant, when we allow emotion and religious excitement to become the measuring stick for spiritual genuine as? How many of us have a mindless fascination with experience? REMEMBER: Experience without knowledge becomes a supercharged missile without direction.......knowledge without experience becomes lifeless and oftentimes legalistic. Remember to try and cultivate both these elements, not only in yourself, but also those who you teach or train.
