Would you like some insight into why we have such a hard time finding pit friendly rentals? This is, sadly, not surprising, but gives you an inside view into their mindset. They are basically being fed the same lines of BS that have been proven untrue and in turn using as their excuse and evidence as to why they disallow pits in most rental properties. Just like pit bulls arent inherently aggressive, as it is a learned behavior, ignorance is also a learned behavior, and on full display in this editorial. Try and make it past the opening statement, which is highly offensive to many and many different levels. At the bottom you will notice a disclaimer, as well as a note Editor’s Note: Edits were made to the article on December 6 to remove any perceived bias against the pit bull breed. I would have hated to see what the biased language by the obviously ignorant and breedist author had said prior to the edits, because this is still bad. Unfortunately, I was forwarded this article just recently, and it was posted back in 2012, so comments are no longer allowed on the article. But this still stands as a window into the ignorant minds of those who choose to not educate themselves and just parrot back things that they have been fed by the biased media and very ill-informed anti-pit groups.
