Financial Aid BAYLOR UNIVERSITY (TX) SCHOLARSHIPS FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS Incoming international students are considered for academic scholarships (the Regents Gold Scholarship, Presidents Gold Scholarship, Provosts Gold Scholarship, DeansGold Scholarship and Transfer Scholarship). International students whose status allows them to work in the U.S. can also apply for a limited number of on-campus jobs. These positions usually pay minimum wage for up to 20 hours per week. In some cases, we can also offer part-time, on-campus work opportunities. Campus News JOLIET JUNIOR COLLEGE (IL) INTENSIVE ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES (IEAP) PROGRAM Joliet Junior College was recently approved to allow F-1 students into their Intensive English for Academic Purposes (IEAP) program. They are currently accepting applications for the Fall 2014 semester. The IEAP curriculum has been at the college since 2010 but was previously limited to local immigrants. Due to the high success rates of those students (average college-level English grade is a 3.17 after completing program) Joliet Junior College is thrilled to expand the program and welcome students on an F-1 visa. New courses include American Culture I & II and a Language Laboratory course. Our main campus is just 72km outside downtown Chicago, giving students the opportunity to experience the exceptional cultural activity of the city.
