Wouldnt you know it. I had the burn pile going good, and Jeanne - TopicsExpress

Wouldnt you know it. I had the burn pile going good, and Jeanne just finished cutting most of the yard. Then the storms came. First the rain, then hail the size of golfs balls, and a few softball size. Happened around dusk and with the heavy rain and lightening didnt venture out to survey he damage. But from the windows, the former nicely manicured yard is a mess. Several large tree limbs down, and the top (20 -25 foot) of a Pine Tree was blasted to the ground by lightening. Of course there are small limbs and debris all over the place. And my young guy that helps maintain the yard is on restriction, so may be awhile getting the place cleaned. Hopefully in time for Easter. Some of the Grands and Great Grands enjoy our annual family egg hunt. Have to check both vehicles for hail damage tomorrow. And call State Farm to check out our roof. Some of our FB friends have posted pictures of cars on I - 20, in Greenwood with windshields beat out, and a 6 or 8 car pile up west bound lanes. I think all of this hit around 6:20PM and At 9 PM still rain and lightening. Were blessed, there are a lot of folks without electricity, I think most of Gwood has electricity.
