Wow - what a great weekend we had-got down to San Diego late Thursday afternoon-after checking into our hotel we went down to Old Town (the birth place of Ca.) for dinner and then toured the Whaley House-one of the most haunted houses in Ca-had a real cute guide - she had lots of spooky stories to tell! Friday am we toured the old Mission and The Trails Nature Park-then two Basketball games-we lost the first (by 12 points) but won the second. Then we had a wonderful dinner with my niece and her daughter-it was so good to see them!! Sat we had 3 games-won them all! Sunday morning we checked out of the hotel , went to Mass at the Mission and then to the last games of the tournament-we won the first game-it was a real nail bitter-ended 57 to 55 us and then the final game -for the Championship-playing the first team we played-they KILLED us! Oh well, we took 2nd and Mitchell played so well, and had alot of fun with his team! It will be a fun year watching these boys play!
