Wow! 9:30 p.m. snuck up on me. Now, I realize that SNUCK is not a word. But everyone knows what it means and I just like to say it. SNUCK SNUCK SNUCK. I have worked hard for many years using correct English and proper verbiage. I have dotted my Is and crossed my Ts ever so perfectly. For 33 years I pored over reference books and grammar pamphlets, carefully punctuating testimony. Even when the speakers used poor English (and I transcribed it verbatim as they said it), I made sure it was punctuated perfectly. I would usually clean up the attorneys snafus (if I liked them). I owned technical dictionaries from chemical names to veterinary terms. (Before internet.) Google was a blessing to me in the later years of my career. Now that I am no longer a court reporter, I DONT HAVE TO DO IT ANYMORE UNLESS I WANT TO. (Improper use of preposition at end of sentence noted.) So, at times, I will slip in a totally erroneous word or term just for the pure hell of it. Even incomplete sentences. (Like that one.) I do this stuff, why? Its like I get some sort of perverse pleasure out of being imperfect. Weird? Of COURSE it is. I AM WEIRD. Ask anyone. Anyway, at this point I bid you all a good night.
