Wow, God does get your attention. This morning as I woke up wondering how I will get through the next few months on this journey of Tough Love. Praying that I can make it. This will be the hardest thing that I have ever done in my life. Having to accept that the choices and decisions that our wayward child makes are NOT our fault. No matter how much we want to help her or fix things, we CAN NOT. Our hands are bound. She has been given all the tools needed. Now it is up to her to build her foundation. God gave her a mind and a free will, maybe an extra dose. She can do it. She will stumble and fall like a toddler. But she will get back up and fall again. But in prayer this morning, struggling and pleading with God, You must give me the strength. Then the song, I surrender all, came on the radio. That is on of my favorite songs.
