Wow. I came into work this morning and was greeted by prolly one of the most beautifully random things ever. Check the pics below. Some artist apparently stopped by the farm over the weekend and left us this beautiful work of art. It is about 10 x 10, and arranged in the dirt out back by our storage trailers. Not sure if the pictures do it any justice, but its extremely cool. The things making up the arrangement include apples, ragweed, queen annes lace, sumac leaves and cones, bittersweet berries and a ton of other things. There was an inscription underneath it that appears to say: The Elopus by the Ortega. Anybody know what that means? I know elopus might be a mythical elephant/octopus combo, but Ortega? Spanish surname, village name, small pigeon like bird, etc... ??? Anyway, was an awesome way to start the week, and I wanted to share with all. Thank you to the anonymous artist that totally made my day.
