Wow I have watched this about 10 times. Fantastic footage from Alan Mann himself, recently found it really reflects the way it was back in 1966. Great shots of Australian Frank Gardner and Sir John Whitmore ( yes he was a Sir ). For Allan Moffat fans there are a few glimpses of his red Lotus Cortina with the white nose and checkout lining up for the LeMans start for the Riverside race at 3.20 mins First race was a wet race at Green Valley Raceway Texas on 10th September 1966 and the Riverside California on 18th September 1966. The footage of Frank Gardner practising the Le Mans starts is interesting. Also some glimpses of Allan Moffat who had Harry Firth driving with him. Harry was a great Australian driver who also use to Rally , he told me years ago he loved driving in the wet at Green Valley.
