Wow. Its great to be home after a LONG 3 months away. Boot camp was nothing like what I thought it was going to be and it was a real challenge; both physically and mentally. I am so thankful for all of the people who sent me letters and for those keeping me in their prayers throughout this time. This was just the beginning of my life as a Marine, but it feels great to be through it. Looking back it really was an experience, and i really wouldnt want to do it again, but I am glad to have gone through it because not only will I have stories and memories to last a lifetime, but it was here that I earned the title United States Marine and joined the ranks of countless others before and beside me who will forever be my family. Going on from here, I have 10 days at home, then its back to Camp Pendleton for combat training, then straight to Virginia for music school. Ive got a long way to go in my Marine Corps career, but with all of the things Ive learned here and with all the continued support, Im sure that Ill be alright. If anyone wants to hang out, hit me up here or text me... its weird having a phone hahaha
