Wow! Ok so today I spent the day in phong nha national park. We drove about 60km, absorbing the view around the mountains and lakes, hiked up a Mounting and explored a cave called paradise cave. It was incredible. We then walked back down and hopped back on the bikes.. After driving on the most beautiful road Ive ever been on we came across the other cave which was called dark cave!! We sat down had some lunch in a wooden hut restaurant over looking a cave and waterfall lake which was like a clear blue lake. The other side of the lake was monkeys swinging though trees (although I didnt see one, other guy in with did. A lot of others did to) so after lunch at first we zip lined 300meters into the opening of the cave them we swimming in with headlights. After walking 15minutes in we came across abit muddy! Little did we know our next step we would fall waist deep into a mud bath! As we struggled walking we climbed up and onto a mud slide which lead us laying down coved in the stuff! After that we cleaned up in the lake and we swam to the back of cave turned of our lights and had a race to cave entrance! Was pitch black and scary haha after we left the cave we turned into kids playing doing backflips off a smaller zip line and messing about! Now Im sitting out side the pub with a log burner, playing pool with the lads and a beer! Amen to today 🙏
