Wow ... This has been an emotional day for me. This most recent media attention on yet another Blue Cross denial really touched a nerve I had thought was quiet again. I lost my father in the end. My entire family lost a beloved grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew but mostly a true friend. In the end, the lack of payments by Blue Cross would have likely made little difference but it would have been one less cross to bear so to speak. I truly want to see changes to the Travel Insurance business so other families dont have to deal with that shock and their loved one doesnt have to leave this earth with that worry on their shoulders as well. I thank everyone for the posts and messages throughout the day and encourage everyone to keep them coming. Even if we are unsuccessful in motivating change at least others will be more wary about what they are buying and be more conscientious about whether they REALLY qualify for their coverage at all. Love and miss you Dad .. Everyday ... We all do!
