Wow. This morning Facebook is awash with people whove had their profiles forcibly changed into like pages, people whove lost photo albums of memories, family and friends, people whove been forced to change their names amd even some whove had to start over from scratch. Is this a sign if ever you needed one that Big brother, the authorities, the government, illuminate, the powers that be, can and do control certain aspects of our lives? Is identifying everyone on FB what is needed to combat 9/11, 7/11, Bali bombings and Paris gunmen? Maybe Russel Brand is right. They are trying to control every aspect of our lives for their own gain. Giving us a false sense of freedom. Maybe the powers that be are putting their heads above the parapet and we are amidst a Revolution. Maybe we should all stop voting, all delete Facebook, all stop fighting over presumably discounted TVs on Purge Friday. Maybe we should all down tools. Put on a backpack, swap our Nike footwear for Hike footwear and see what the beautiful planet has to offer before we shuffle off this mortal coil.
