Wow! What a busy weekend at the band room! With over 200 people visiting our rehearsal room over the 2 days, it was a very successful event. While a few people wondered where the horses were (given that we are housed in the old stables of Northbrook), the visitors took the time to admire the photos, trophies and band memorabilia collected over our 102 years of music-making. A brass quartet performed this morning, entertaining visitors and passers-by. Thanks to the 12 members who gave up their time over the weekend to greet our visitors and answer questions. Thanks also to the Stonnington Council for including us in Melbourne Open House 2013. We look forward to it being an annual event.
