Wow. What a night. Its kind of a blur but I want to thank the many filmmakers who attended last nights kickoff event. It was wonderful to meet each and every one of you. We are so fortunate to have such a tremendous slate of films for our program this year. To my wife Michele Sorvino I love you. Youre the engine that makes this festival (and my life) run. To Farhan Pirzada James Blueweiss and Michael Auerbach, signing the contract between Rebirth Entertainment and Kismet Media Group was the icing on the cake of one of the most memorable nights of my life. To Tommy Hilfiger you are a testament to the fact that nice guys can finish first. Thank you for your generous offering of time and support. To my uncle Paul Sorvino I love you you are always such a wonderful support and mentor. I would not be the artist I am without you. To the world....
