Wow! You guys are some powerful prayers!!! DJ was at the neuro-opthomologist appointment, when suddenly his left eye opened! Then his right one opened halfway. He was making some minor movements opening and closing his eyes, sometimes more than other times. This was so awesome because the specialist was right there to see it happen and he was able to rule out even more issues and knows exactly how he wants to proceed. He said the things that were happening were REALLY GOOD news (like we didnt already think that!) and he helped me make up an updated game-plan for DJs recovery. Now, these movements are not consistent yet, and it is likely to be a two steps forward, one step back kind of process, BUT it is finally some progress. We are looking for long-term improvement and I believe it will happen sooner rather than later :-) God has been so good to us!
