Wow do I know. How many times I felt like picking up the phone and saying that the first year!! See, he had spent his first 6 months in the vets kennel after being mauled by another dog as a babe. when he came to my house you could just read, OMG I have a mom OMG I have a house OMG I have a yard (which he was scared of the first three days and I had to leash walk him around the perimeter three times a day.) and OMG I have cats to play with. I had to leash him to myself the first month. When asleep or at work I had to cage him or hed total the house. What trials for months!! He is now turning 3 and calming down and much more mannerly, no more destruction, learned how to play darling with cats as he tries to gently paw them now instead of pick them up and throw them around!!! He just didnt know how to be a puppy!! I could write a book about our experiences. But he adores me and wouldnt let harm come near me!!! However, he knows the difference and is very friendly otherwise. Keep your pup...they dont have a clue of what is going on and sometimes due to the breed, that can continue for some time.
