Wow, its really fun to post comments on news stories about the $15 minimum wage. You get all sorts of people calling you idiot, stupid and moron - just for having an opinion. I DID the Struggle, people - 4 years at hell-mart and I survived on a wage that, taking inflation into consideration, was still only probably around $11/hr. $15 is just too much, Im sorry. Move to the suburbs, or, if you cant survive but are working your butt off to DO SOMETHING about it, I will pay into welfare without whining. Yes, we need to close the wage gap, but you cant just jump up to $15/hr from $9.68/hr - thats like trying to go into the 1.20s after only doing 0.85m.
