Wow....just wow!! I had this pipe commissioned by John Jensen (Revs Pipes).. its a reverse calabash heirloom squat tomato. This pipe is the ultimate flake smoker. I was like a kid today ..waiting for the mail truck. When I held it in my hand I knew that Rev swung for the fences on this one...AND CLEARED IT BY FAR!! The briar on this masterpiece is perfect weight and the grain is just phenomenal. The walls of the bowl are thick providing a super cool smoke and cool to the touch, no matter how hard I chief on this beast. The calabash chamber is precisely carved and provides for a cool smoking experience. I never smoked a rev bash before so I didnt know what to expect from it. The flavor remains unaltered but cool ,and tongue bite is probably eliminated( even with Mac Bitten) completely. This is a flake smokers dream and I am more than happy with this pipe. This is my best pipe by far in every aspect...and this is compared to a $600 Viprati bulldog that was my best pipe until today. My maiden smoke in this flake toaster was Escudo, lightly rubbed. It smoked perfect.....cool...and rich!!! Thank you John....I recommend your next pipe be made by Rev.John Jensen!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!
