Wow seems to be the word I use to describe something I experience as fantastic. Not only do I love the Rachmaninoff Third Piano Concerto, but so do I love Olga Kerns playing. She is passionate to very rare heights of feeling and expression. She is young and amazing. She brings a clarity to the music that I have not heard before. My head started moving with passion along with her, bobbing with rhythm and feeling. . She brings out the beauty in the music and tears from me. I stumbled upon the entire performance tonight of this concerto. Thank you, Olga Kern. I have a feeling that the piano is a little new and stiff, but she plays it like it has not been played before.
