Wow, so its a weird coincidence I just saw this really thought provoking John Oliver clip when Im book number two into the late Iain M. Banks magnificence science fiction Culture series about the titular culture which at first seems like an intergalactic utopia for kind, artistic, safe, mostly liberal minded people then you realize, slowly, this dream society is in fact a result of the brutal, powerful, infinitely funded and soulless killer robot program ( theyre actually called drones as well in the books) who murder anyone who threatens it and probably a good number of innocents as well. https://youtube/watch?v=K4NRJoCNHIs Also I was just explaining to someone what cognitive dissonance meant and I really wish I had John Olivers super-apt Becks scientology example lol.
