Wow, these last couple of days have been tough... First, I lose my Dad this past February. And, now, my Mom this past Sunday. (both passed on a Sunday. Their favorite day of the week). They have been married for 69 years. (Gods master plan). But, I am not sad. I am grateful for having parents who were spiritual Giants. They laid down the blue print for our entire family( Hundreds). All we have to do is continue to follow the legacy. My Mom, Hazel Bartell, was the Mother of our entire neighborhood. My house was the house were everyone congregated. If, there ever was a template for how to raise 14 children and many generations of other people, David & Hazel wrote the book. I want to thank everyone for the wishes and prayers that you sent me and my family. More than you will ever know, we are grateful. For those would like to know, my Moms arrangements are as follows; FRIDAY September 19, 2014 @ James Cole Home for Funerals: 16100 Schaefer, Detroit: 9am--9pm. SATURDAY September 20, 2014 @ Clinton St. Greater Bethlehem Temple: 2900 W. Chicago. Detroit: Family Hour: 10am. Funeral: 11am. God Bless. rb.
