Wow ....what a day - I had a new dog arrive today - she managed to scale a 6ft 2 fence and escape - we instantly got a professional a dog tracker, called the owner - had three people on sighting alerts at the base of the mountain on this side and Waianae Valley Road side - informing the tracker where she could be sighted ( up the mountain on the ridgeline !!! ) and, after over 4.5 hours of us all working as a team, with the owner and the fabulous tracker we employed, she is with me now safe and sound, right now, she is enjoying a big marrow bone on a nice big comfy bed (o: .... We had a volunteer group arranged for tonight to go up the mountain - I - needless to say, was ready to camp out up on the mountain and the tracker was too .... we had 2 long hoop dog catchers to rent, and were already to find this dog or die trying ... the owner had NO idea their dog could scale a 6ft 2 fence !!!! Happy ending - thank goodness .... I would not have been able to sleep until we found this little baby girl - so thankful we were able to catch her ... Welcome home pretty little Kalea
