Wow when I saw this video this morning I teared along with him cause I understand what he means. Single mom never really went to high school only knew a life of work in Dominican Republic, she brought my brother and I to NY with little money. We stayed with different family members for about 1 year till she rented a tiny room in an apartment that we called home. We then moved from place to place like every 6 months. She worked 1-2 shifts in a factory in NJ to provide for us until she was permanently disabled from work due to the high exposure to gas. She raised us into 2 hard working men who value every sacrifice she ever made for us. She definitely went to sleep hungry to make sure we didnt. If I turned out good its all because of how she raised, little resources, tough but unconditional love, and making us understand the value in the little that we have. My mom is my hero my MVP!
