Wrapping Up Tonight was a beautiful night at La Cruz Iglesia! The church was full and there was a great spirit there. They love the colors their pastor and chair of the board picked and wwere truly grateful for our contribution of work and encouragement. Pastor Miguel Arenas preached tonight. I first met Miguel here in Salto ten years ago. He was a GBGM Missionary here. He worked with then pastor, Gustavo Garello and at the Crandon School as chaplain. Now he has earned a Master of Divinity from Wesley Seminary and is pastoring two Churches in the Newville, PA area. But tonight, he was preaching to the home crowd. He preached with grace, confidence and the sureness of a practiced hand and led very well. Miguel is, in a way fruit from that earlier mission trip here, ten years ago. I was truly touched how the Spirit is at work in him. Tomorrow we head back to Montevideo. And maybe some relaxation before going airborne to The USA Tuesday evening. Its been a really great mission trip!
