Writing my part of the eulogy alone in the quiet living room and - TopicsExpress

Writing my part of the eulogy alone in the quiet living room and wishing he was here for just 5 more minutes. Just 5. Hug your loved ones more. Tell them you love them. Forgive them, reconcile past pains, if possible. By Gods grace alone, on Saturday after my baby shower, as we loaded the car, I walked past John and grabbed his arm. I distinctly remember saying, Thank you for today. I love you. (I didnt always tell him that in person, usually on the phone, but that day I remember saying it). And I remember him patting my arm the way he always did and saying, I love you too, babe. That was our last moment together. You never know.
