(Written by one of our fans on this Page) Letter to Mankind Dear Beloved, Try to understand, we are all humans – we share the same desires, same tragedies, the same human condition. There is no `us`, there is no `them`. Try to understand, we are all one, on the same planet, trying to survive, achieve peace and harmony with each other, and mother earth. Mankind has a common past, and a common future. Children are children, women are women, men are men, wherever their geography. Suffering is suffering, no matter to whom it befalls. Try to understand, the powerful want to divide you; they also want to exploit you, and I`m not speaking of only material exploitation. They deceive you by enticing you with an illusionary utopia; a false democratic dream; and they will educate you only to the point that you serve under them, and not dissent the status quo. But is there any true emancipation, true deliberation? Is it possible to transcend the system? My answer: yes, and no. Life is ambiguous, hard to define. There is always a conflict between our dreams and reality. We will seek, as human beings, common things – material and spiritual happiness. Unfortunately, as a human being, we are interpellated into the existing system, sans choice. We are the lifeblood, the veins, of the entire works. We are the machinery, and they cannot sustain the ``system`` without us. They absolutely need the 99% to stay this way, and pursue the Hollywood dream they preach. It is hard, to transcend, and I am still inquiring if it is even possible to transcend your environments? I believe one way is possible, through a profound spiritual understanding of human existence, and of life. You can transcend the system, by achieving harmony in your everyday life, and material success does not give you this. You can transcend the system, by fighting a silent battle, by giving to charity when you can. You can transcend, by seeing through a holistic lens, of history, and of mankind, not of ``races``, and borders. Race does not exist, it is a myth. Human beings, however, they exist. Try to understand, we are one. Students talk about the revolution. Everyone with a little knowledge, complains about the ``system``; but hey, when they graduate, they find a job, and take it up the ass. They become the faithful servants of the capitalist vultures, and serve the vampirical corporate agendas of Big Brother. Why? Because they must earn a living, and seek a decent one, so they sell out their beliefs to serve under a regime that they don`t believe they have any power to change. Try to understand, it is ok to do this, and indeed – you must,to survive. However, the belief that we do not have the power to change things;now that, is very foolish. They say, ``The revolution will not be televised``. Students complain, ``Where is the revolution?`` I say, you need not look anywhere, but in the mirror. I do not believe the revolution has not arrived. It most certainly has – we are it. The revolution is just silent, and like a slowly heated kettle, we, the water droplets, will explode into the sky. How incredible are human beings, to have come this far? And we endure, and go on, and will continue to endure, and go on. Believe in the human spirit, and believe in yourself - there is nothing more powerful in the world. Belief is enough as emancipation. Can you not see it already? Can you not feel it? A profound connectedness, to every living thing on earth? Does your throat not swell with emotion, when you see this truth? Does your heart not ache, bleed, for the children, for the future, for the world you are going to leave behind for them? Are u a human being? Or are you a lifeless zombie waiting for someone else to cure you, and the condition of man? We have traded books, for MTV. Our libraries, they are empty. The clubs however, they are overflowing with people. There is nothing wrong with enjoying life, you must celebrate life as much as possible, through whatever means necessary to your beliefs and personalities. But why can`t we redirect our pleasure seeking molecule? Where did the pleasure of reading go, of simply lying in the grass? The pleasure of learning the great legacies of great persons of our great history - where did it go? Why not aim to be like Ghandi; why aim to be like Nicki Minaj or Justin Beiber? Try to understand, mankind, we are pursuing fallacies. My dreams are grand, and impossible. But that will only make me work harder, and hopefully, change one life, help one child. Armageddon is inevitable, but until then, we have a responsibility, a duty to ourselves and each other, to make this place as habitable as possible for the present and future, for everyone we share it with, until the earth perishes with the sun. Please understand, you are infinitely powerful, in every second of your existence. If you do not see this, you must seek new eyes, read more, read history. Nothing can be done alone. The revolution is the unity of all the children of earth, against our evil past and current psycho corporate leaders. It will be bloody, as it always is, but it will not be in vain. No fight is ever in vain. It is for the children of the future; it is for our species. Mankind is at a crossroads. He will have to choose between himself, or his fellowmen. Those who dissent will not be handled nicely by the law, and we will die, in the fight against oppression. Those who are fearful will preserve their own conditions and lives – and they have every right to do so. But those who are living to make a difference will most likely lose their lives, and everything they hold dear. Oh Earth, give us strength. Make us as strong as the ocean tides. Goodluck, my loves. Forever yours, Sabina Syed.
