Wynter’s obsession with HH has blinded his judgement March 7, 2014 | Filed under: Special Comments | Posted by: Editor It is clear that Patriotic Front secretary general, and generally the PF leadership, is obsessed with Hakainde Hichilema and as such this has clouded his judgement. It was disappointing to hear him comment on the current impasse in Parliament. Instead of addressing the real cause of the constitution impasse, all he sees is HH. Unfortunately he even goes to the extent of saying HH will pay the MPs and HH will give them the date for the Technical Committee to submit the Draft Constitution. Mr Kabimba should realise that the issue is not about HH but the move is aimed at forcing the PF to give the people of Zambia a people-driven constitution which the PF wants to bastardise. The PF has shown that it cannot be trusted on the constitution; the PF is not willing and certainly not in a hurry to give us the constitution we deserve. That is why their leader Mr Sata is now mocking us and asking us the masters to show him an animal-driven constitution. As long as the PF leadership sees HH in this legitimate demand they will not solve this impasse. May I advise Mr Kabimba to shut up on the matter because he does not have the tact to deal with such a sensitive matter. His uncalled-for remarks are not helping matters but just aggravating the situation. PF should know that what the MPs are doing is on behalf of all of one who want a people-driven (not PF driven) constitution. We are keenly watching and we shall do everything possible to give ourselves the constitution we want.
