XAVIERSWORLD VMA RECAP : Record mogul Suge Knight was shot six times early this (Sunday) morning at a Chris Brown party in Los Angeles, but is expected to survive. TMZ has the scoop. He was able to leave the venue on foot, but was taken by police to an area hospital, where he had surgery and is recovering in the ICU. He was allegedly shot in the stomach, arm and elsewhere. Other party-goers were also injured by gunfire, one of them reportedly suffering critical injuries. The party at the 1 Oak Club on Sunset Boulevard was hosted by Brown as a warm-up for tonights MTV Video Music Awards, and was attended by numerous celebrities, including Tyson Beckford. According to TMZ, The Game was involved in a brawl with security 90 minutes prior to the shooting, which took place around 1:30 am local time. Knights family issued a puzzling statement about the shooting to Diddys Revolt network: [We] ask that you keep Suge in your prayers and to stray [sic] away from the negativity portrayed by the media. Suge is currently resting and has lost a lot of blood, hes human. Hes done a lot of things for the community and the culture as a whole so we ask that you respect that.
