I believe the protection plan was around $75 but please verify accuracy with Best Buy if that does not sound correct to you. ===================================================== This was bought January 15, 2014 and that is also when the warranty for accidental damage was purchased so that would be the start date of the warranty. This lens has been used to take approximately 20 pictures at the most. It has been in the pawn shop for all but 3 of the days after we purchased it. I do not want to sell but hard times cause me to do things that are hard for me to do such as sell this for such a cheap price. I have original invoice and it will be given to you at time of purchase along with warranty paperwork.
