XXXXX And why Im PROUD to be liberal!!!! 23 hrs · Like Robbie R Robinson If your wondering why our country is no longer great look to the progression of progressive ideology..... 1 hr · Like XXXXX Yes. The government isnt making the big banks or large corporations pay up because they have bought our government. We need to get those guys out and take the money out of our politics. 1 hr · Like Robbie R Robinson Making them pay up is what caused the problem. Government got involved in banking and business and so banking and business got involved in government. If we understand today the to big to fail banks and massive corporations control the government, why is it that liberal/progressive ideology insist that same government is capable of controlling what controls them? This is why mixed economies/corporatist economies dont work, granted its better than socialism but no matter economic system a government that commands the economy must necessarily coerce the populous. In other words, as government expands liberty must yield. Today there is not a single thing in the lives of Americans that is not legislated, mandated, criminalized, regulated, taxed, or subsidized by government (that is not what capitalism looks like). Our freedom is ONLY within the context of what is permitted, not by social norms or moral values but by the ever advancing scope of governance and central planning. We no longer ask ourselves what the right and just thing to do is, we ask ourselves whether or not its legal and then rather than acting for ourselves we lobby the government. Then we wonder why our society is falling apart.... Our country is declining because we have lobbied to be free from responsibility and the government answered the call. We abandoned our responsibilities to the state and thus our freedom has fallowed. Our education It is the State which educates its citizens in civic virtue, gives them a consciousness of their mission and welds them into unity. Moral values, ideals of justice, fairness, and equality, everything is within the state our entire society now only exists within the context of the state there is nothing outside the state. In relation to the video above The following statement is embedded in a speech delivered by Mussolini at Naples, October 24, 1912: WE HAVE created our myth. The myth is a faith, it is passion. It is not necessary that it shall be a reality. It is a reality by the fact that it is a good, a hope, a faith, that it is courage. Our myth is the Nation, our myth is the greatness of the Nation! And to this myth, to this grandeur, that we wish to translate into a complete reality, we subordinate all the rest. constitution.org/tyr/mussolini.htm Against individualism, the Fascist conception is for the State; and it is for the individual in so far as he coincides with the State, which is the conscience and universal will of man in his historical existence. It is opposed to classical Liberalism(classical liberalism is the political philosophy of Americas founding fathers and relates more today as libertarianism), which arose from the necessity of reacting against absolutism, and which brought its historical purpose to an end when the State was transformed into the conscience and will of the people. Liberalism denied the State in the interests of the particular individual; Fascism reaffirms the State as the true reality of the individual. And if liberty is to be the attribute of the real man, and not of that abstract puppet envisaged by individualistic Liberalism, Fascism is for liberty. And for the only liberty which can be a real thing, the liberty of the State and of the individual within the State. Therefore, for the Fascist, everything is in the State, and nothing human or spiritual exists, much less has value,-outside the State. In this sense Fascism is totalitarian, and the Fascist State, the synthesis and unity of all values, interprets, develops and gives strength to the whole life of the people. -The doctrines of Fascism by Benito Mussolini Defining Corporatism- Corporatism (also known as corporativism[1]) is the socio-political organization of a society by major interest groups, or corporate groups, such as agricultural, business, ethnic, labour, military, patronage, or scientific affiliations, on the basis of common interests.[2] Corporatism is theoretically based upon the interpretation of a community as an organic body.[3][4] The term corporatism is based on the Latin root word corpus (plural – corpora) meaning body.[4] In 1881, Pope Leo XIII commissioned theologians and social thinkers to study corporatism and provide a definition for it. In 1884 in Freiburg, the commission declared that corporatism was a system of social organization that has at its base the grouping of men according to the community of their natural interests and social functions, and as true and proper organs of the state they direct and coordinate labor and capital in matters of common interest.[5] The idea of liberal corporatism has also been attributed to English liberal philosopher John Stuart Mill who discussed corporatist-like economic associations as needing to predominate in society to create equality for labourers and give them influence with management by economic democracy.[28] Unlike some other types of corporatism, liberal corporatism does not reject capitalism or individualism, but believes that the capitalist companies are social institutions that should require their managers to do more than maximize net income, by recognizing the needs of their employees.[29] This liberal corporatist ethic is similar to Taylorism but endorses democratization of capitalist companies.[29] Liberal corporatists believe that inclusion of all members in the election of management in effect reconciles ethics and efficiency, freedom and order, liberty and rationality.[29] Liberal corporatism began to gain disciples in the United States during the late 19th century.[5] Liberal corporatism was an influential component of the Progressivism in the United States that has been referred to as interest group liberalism.[30] In the United States, economic corporatism involving capital-labour cooperation was influential in the New Deal economic program of the United States in the 1930s as well as in Keynesianism and even Fordism.[21] Fascisms theory of economic corporatism involved management of sectors of the economy by government or privately controlled organizations (corporations). Each trade union or employer corporation would, theoretically, represent its professional concerns, especially by negotiation of labour contracts and the like. This method, it was theorized, could result in harmony amongst social classes.[31] Authors have noted, however, that de facto economic corporatism was also used to reduce opposition and reward political loyalty.[32] “Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power” ― Benito Mussolini The leftist liberal/progressive ideology is that of corporatism which is the economic system we have in the US today and that is why our country is failing. Our government perpetuates the myth that we are a Constitutional Capitalist Republic so that the myth takes the blame and the people vote for more of everything that is going wrong with this country...
