YASSIN FAAL ( GAMBIA) MISS AFRICA USA 2014. ( I am one of the co-sponsor of MISS AFRICA USA PAGEANT) Out of 15th contestant from representing different African Nations, Yassin Faal will be representing our home land the Gambia. Miss Africa USA Pageant August 9th at the Strathmore theater, Rockville, MD Why support Miss Africa USA Delegate, The Miss Africa USA Pageant is grooming a new generation of African women leaders to impact their communities in Africa, America and the rest of the world. Miss Africa USA Pageant is the biggest and the most publicized pageant in US that features African women and give them the opportunities to shine the face of in the United States of America and around the world. The Vision of the Miss Africa USA Pageant is driven by the potential and capacity of the empowered African woman. The Pageant enables African girls in United States of America to shine the spotlight on Africa, tell their stories to the world, inspire one another, build self-esteem, and feel beautiful inside and out. This pageant is like no other, the delegates are very intelligent young women from some of the most respected educational institutions in America, with careers spanning from the Sciences to the Arts, some in Medical School or Pharmacy School, and others are upcoming Journalists or Human Rights Activists and more. These young and ambitious African women have acquired the American spirit of giving back and service to humanity. Miss Africa USA delegates speak for Millions of women, children and communities who have no voice. These young women are seizing the opportunity that America presents to advocate for the less fortunate Yassin Faal representing Gambia at the 2014 miss Africa USA, She is a woman with substance. She is 20, currently attending Everett Community College in Seattle Washington state and working towards a degree in International Relations and a minor in Communication art, apparently resenting herself would never be her problem. Yassins passion lies in seeing a brighter future for children because they are the pillars and foundation of the world. Her main aspiration is to reach the peak of United Nations International Children’s Fund (UNICEF). She is an Autism advocate .As a student she is also a social worker working for children with autism, a feminist, and child right advocate. Yassins life in the Gambia was full of joy and pleasure. She was born and raised in The Gambia as part of a family of nine, in a town called Bakoteh. She is a powerful leader who has been involved with youth since 2005, first with an organization called “The Voice of the Young,” and now with Youth Crime Watch of The Gambia, In addition, she is a TV presenter of a youth show called “The Change Makers Show.” Yassin enjoys connecting with friends and family, and her ultimate dream for young people is to see to it that everyone lives in a violence-free environment. Her philosophy is that “Destiny can be delayed but never can it be denied.” Yassins platform is raising autism awareness in The Gambia’’. Autism is a developmental disorder that affects the brain’s normal social and communication skills, The Gambia, she have never seen an organization advocate for children with autism and yet she has seen autism cases each and every day, MORE ON YASSIN AND HER PLATFORM COMING SOON
