YES. I am thankful for overcoming Math Anxiety. I had to go BACK to Developmental Algebra 1 and 2 so I could take Precalc then Statistics and Physics. And Calculus!! All that to get into a Masters Program for Physical Therapy then it turned out $$$ was an issue…next, they bumped it up that I had to have a Doctorate to be a Physical Therapist. Never did I want to be a researcher but on the front line helping and touching (a hand thing for me!) By that time, I realized much of my life was avoidance mode. i let anxiety and fear rule which ended up me making up for it with 45 credits of pure science AND math. All of this I avoided in 4 years of college!!! I still want to overcome geometry. I learned you cant memorize physics or geometry and its exhausting to try!! BUT I did fine in Chemistry particularly Bio!! What I learned in the process was valuable those 3 years. AND I was learning the Bible alongside of all this which I believe is one reason I could do it because I relied on Gods strength and more!!
