YES!!! So its not just me. Got this from someone elses thread where theres an ongoing discussion. I added my two cents----> I was raised during a time and place where it was considered rude to ask this question AND if a woman asked it she was a gold digger. I dont ask this question for it does not matter to me what you do to sustain yourself and put a roof over your head when were first meeting. What Im more concerned about is do we share similar social interests, are you a good person, can you make me laugh and if youre a woman, can you and do you like to cook. What you do is so irrelevant during our first meeting unless its a business networking event. What you do will not tell me how you will treat me or whether you will respect me.
